Dr Shikha Parmar is a passionate, empathic family physician with over 3 decades of experience in primary health care delivery. She completed her medical training and commenced General Practice in New Zealand, later moving to Melbourne in 2001. She has been involved in teaching, examining and interviewing trainee doctors, and in public speaking. The last 10 years have seen her seeking and providing evidence-informed, modern medical technologies that are non-invasive. These therapies empower her patients by providing alternative treatment options, including non-pharmacological approaches where appropriate, aimed at supporting health and quality of life.
